We had the honor of meeting Melissa and her husband Robert at Delnor, where Melissa—like Mary—is courageously battling metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Despite facing recent challenges, she was deeply moved to be chosen by the Delnor Cancer Center staff as the recipient of the Mary DeRosa Charity Metastatic Breast Cancer Grant.
Joining us for this special occasion were board members Amy Sarna and Taras Gracey, as well as Lori and Justin Bartley, one of our premium sponsors from the annual golf outing. We were also grateful to be joined by Oncology Social Worker Shannon Brown and Angela McCrum, Director of LivingWell. Together, we shared an afternoon filled with gratitude, encouragement, and community support—truly a very meaningful day.
