It’s been over two and a half years since I lost my mom, Mary DeRosa, to metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. Her kindness, love, and strength continue to inspire my family and me every day. In her honor, we created the Mary DeRosa Charity to support families affected by cancer and to carry forward the compassion she showed so effortlessly. This blog, After the Bell, is my space to share our journey, my grief, and the hope we’re rebuilding—one small moment at a time.
